The Athlon/800 is $208. For most chess programs, the "Classic Athlon" may be as fast as the Thunderbird. Seems like a good deal to me... Pricewatch doesn't even list Pentium III's over 933MHz, presumably because they barely exist. (Or they're OEM-only parts?) Anyway, the 933 costs $649. The Thunderbird/950 costs $599. The Athlon/950 costs $559. -Tom
