Some may be interested in results obtained from Hiarcs 6 running on a 132 Mhz MacIntosh and competing on the Internet Chess Club. After 10 games and without the advantage of xboard, and thus giving others about a nine second advantage, Hiarcs 6 has established an ICC rating of about 2575 for 15 15 play. It is significantly stronger than the crafty version playing there. Although the ICC does not recognize the rating until 20 games have been rated, I expect Hiarcs 6 for MacIntosh to maintain at least a 2550 rating. I am very interested in the results from the G3 275 Mhz.Get ready friends. The Macs are not dead quite yet!!
