Is he the only one?

Ever since Rebel7 (when the tournament book was implemented) I tell SSDF
to play with the "standard" settings after installation and to leave the
tournament book on.

Besides of that one might expect a little knowledge of *any* tested
program by *any* SSDF tester. If Rebel regular jumps out of book on
move 4 one might start to think something is wrong don't you think?

If a tester sees that after:

1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 f5

or

1.d4 d5 2.c4 dxc4 3.Nc3

Rebel is out of book don't you think it is logical to assume something
is *very* wrong?

Will these games (how many?) played again with the good settings?

Or will SSDF remove the games in question from the Rebel8 and Rebel9
results?

I think Rebel8 and Rebel9 (and maybe Rebel7?) are treated unfair and
lost (many?) unnecessary elo points because of that.

Only SSDF can supply the information:
1.. how many testers have made this mistake;
2.. how many games are affected (not valid) because of that;
3.. what has been the elo loss for Rebel8 and Rebel9.

Please correct the error and I will shut up. Your list is too important
and valuable to let such a huge error unchanged.

Playing Rebel8 and Rebel9 with a 4-5 Kb opening book.
Who ever is to blame, it should be corrected IMO.
