This is a start as anyone who has played as many games against hiarcs et al will notice if you set 40/2 and anything other than defalts (2450) it will mix weaker moves in with the stronger ones. I posted a game where it was supposed to be 2200 but it blocked an obvious diagonal which shouldn't have been blockd with a pawn move and viola, with a Rook Lift i don't care who you are if you have corrupt structure on the K-side you are as good as dead. This isn't fun so i am looking for programs that will play consistently bad moves hehe really Baby chess and Ziggurat are too weak for the average player and for someone who is probably around 1800 like me it isn't any fun. I don't mind being crushed but please not in the first 20 moves like a fritz or hiarcs. and when it comes to the Complete chess system on my 800Mhz athlon clocked to 880 yes it is strong 2195 on the LCT II test I have better luck with Skaki even though it can and does win more often than i do it is supposed to be around 1965 on a 600Mhz machine so from what i have seen it could be 25-55 points higher on my machine which even though there is no correlation to elo it would put it enough points above me to win more. I don't have much to work with on creating a weak program list but anybody wanting to help is welcome. I have the SSDF list i used in the first place and came up with the CCS as being the weakest on the SSDF an LCTII tests. There are others like Psion, ChessPlayer2150, ChessChampion 2175, Chessmaster 2100 and 2000; which may be weaker but some of these are hard to find and some will not run due to being too buggy poorly written etc.(Ziggurat kept on crashing pitty cause it is one of the older programs that still looks good) I have noticed that winboard programs do not alway work in Chessbase this doesn't help matters seeing as to how else can i run test suits?? Other than the SSDF list i have a few documents from Frank's webpage: the wer_rating_8 this lists a bunch of programs and their SSDF 40/5 40min Chessbits etc but whoever is responsible didn't think to put the version number of the programs. Thankyou for your response
