I have also heard, that the auto232 of Fritz5 does not work in the
commercial
version. So, the SSDF testers have got some special version of the
program. In principle, this would allow for some kinds of manipulation.
For instance, you know if auto232 is active then you have an opponent
out of a small group of commercial programs. I don't claim that this is
the case, but I am not completely happy with this development. I would
appreciate the SSDF testing a wide spectrum of programs instead of
focussing on the few commercial toppers.
IMO, this would lower the chance of manipulations.
