Subject: Problems running Fritz 6 on Windows ME

I got a new PC with Windows ME installed.  Loaded Fritz 6 with no problems.
However, in useing F6 the entire system will crash within 20 min of use.  Called
the manufacturer and their explanation is that some of the routine functions
that ME does on an ongoing basis may be interfearing with F6.  Has anyone had a
similar experience?  Can anyone help me?  I've tried uninstalling and
reinstalling with no success.  As far as turing off the routine functions on a
trial and error basis, there are so many that it could take months to find the
right solution if that is the problem.  Is there a better OS to run Fritz 6?  If
so what?
