I think Tiger needs more knowledge about passive pawn structures. It's a problem I have seen in other situations as well, and I think it's a key point to solve several problems, including the one you mention. I think Bob has worked on this in Crafty, and has several times refered to this concept as "pawn levers". I'll have to do my homework as well... :) Christophe
