Simple. First, it doesn't have to be in the US. It should be in North America. Why? The ICCA _charter_ clearly spells out that the event will alternate between Europe and North America. No exceptions. Just alternation. Most programs are not from _any_ one continent today. But if we need to enumerate, I'll bet the USA is at or near the front if you don't count only commercial programs...
