No, they're new versions IMO. And a new version doesn't automatically mean upgrade or strength improvement. It can just as easily be a question of changing the concept. CM7000 was a dubious release compared to CM6000 judging from the little I know about both of them. However, I think that CM8000 has a number of new features. The most prominent one being something resembling WinBoard support and an autoplay feature as a result of that. And since I haven't seen any evidence to suggest that the engine is weaker (or stronger), the criticism is a little void of meaning. Mogens.
