Even stranger:

I do NOT own any Shredder version for the Chessbase/Fritz environment.  (The
only version of Shredder I own is 5, in its own GUI.)  Yet, when I installed
Fritz 7 on my system (over the F7 beta I'd had), Fritz began calling itself
Shredder!
