I have a computer that I built recently. It has a 1 gig proccessor, (1) 30 gig hard drive (C:Drive) & (1) 40 gig hard drive (D:Drive) & 384meg of Ram. The operating system is Windows2000 Professional. I have went through the installation proccess with both Chess Tiger14.0 & Shredder6 without trouble. I elected to install Chess Tiger 14.0 & Shredder6 on the "D" drive because this is where all my other chess programs & tablebases are. After the installation & the re-booting of my computer, I double click the icon on my desk top. Momentarily, the program begins to load but then disappears. If I click on Fritz6, I can see both Chess Tiger14.0 & Shredder6 as engines in Fritz6. But when I go to load the engines from Fritz6, I get an error message that reads like this: [The instruction at "0x5f4012a1" referenced memory at "0x00000004". The memory could not be read.] I tryed a number of things such as installing the programs on my "C" drive & uninstalling all other programs before I installed these 2. Nothing is working. What could possibly be the problem {?} Please, can some1 help me {?} Signed: Desperate
