Dear Ali, Just subtract 60 to 70 elo points for every halving of processor speed. If program X is 2600 at 2000 Mhz then at: 1000Mhz it is 2530 500Mhz 2460 250Mhz 2390 120Mhz 2320 60Mhz 2250 30Mhz 2180 15Mhz 2110 8Mhz 2040 4Mhz 1970 2Mhz 1900 1Mhz 1830 This is only a guess. You must realize that big programs may not even run on old hardware. As you can see it is possible to get a good game with very slow processors. Do you intend to slow your processor clock to nil in order to make it last longer? Maybe slower is better.
