exactly. CSTal was not one of the tops before chris invented the tal-function.

Complete chess system played very horrible. it had a wrong evaluation function.
we worked on this. the result was chess system tal (dos).

the position from knaak is from thomas lagershausen. i used it for
my own testing purposes because it is a typical example of an unbalanced
position in chess.

and it is NOT so obvious from the beginning if the position is better for white
or for black.

it needs creativity to play the game.

i liked the position. therefore i used it. and i thougt others like it too.
