Thorsten did not say that the program need to be one of the best in order to be considered as new paradigm. Note also that beating the top programs from the relevant position is not enough to be one of the top programs because if your program knows to play well in this position and does not know to play well in other positions then it is not one of the best programs. I do not want to join the discussion about new paradigm because I believe that it cannot be productive. I may join the discussion if it is about the games otherwise I am out of it. Uri
