I guess the thing is the lines aren't always clear.  Of course many software
makers would like to tell you its clear and that whatever they decide to tell
you inside the box is trhe law.  Of course its not.  If they say you can only
install the software on one pc etc.  there seems to be a progression.   Say you
open up software and when you instll it it says you can only instll it on one
pc.  Do you?
1)also install it on your laptop
2)allow family members in your household to install it on their pc
3)also allow family members not in your household
4)give to friends
5)e-mail it to acquaintances from the internet
6) sell copies of it

I think most people I know are in the middle.
