I think its hard to argue that Micro's are not at IM status. I don't think that micro's are at GM status yet but it is getting close. I have found that it takes now at least an IM to use anti-computer tactics to win against most of the top micros today. And even than half the time the tactics do not work any more. I think I know the IM that Bob is talking about IM Commons and yes he does have a nack for betting computers but still the programs I have played against him have scored many wins. And if my memory is correct CG5 has a nice plus score against him. I wish more strong players were like IM Commons he not only likes to play computers at slower time controls, he likes to tell why he playes certain moves against computers. He has given me many insights into anti-computer play.
