what counts, is: we have different choices. and anybody can choose an alternative that fits for yourself. one guy likes fast games within 3 or 2 ' blitz, fritz will be the best one guy likes sacs, he will like gambit tiger one guy likes to analyse his mail chess games, hiarcs will be his choice one guy likes to use century against humans, ... what we need is the varience. and if the people would PAY INSTEAD OF ILLAGALLY COPY, we could fincance this variety. and this would also help NOT to have monopols. support the thing you like. and do not illegally copy. support your programmer. he needs the money to continue. he is worth it. stefan is worth it. marty is worth it. dave it worth it. everybody may choose the program he likes the most. and sell it from the company he likes. and than lets meet on icc or fritz server and let the programs play against each other and we all have fun. but illegal copies ruin everything. choose one. because you like it most. they are all different. different people. different programs. alternatives. thats the world we need. the varience was the thing that made USA the big nation. the differences gave something to all of us. here in europe same situation. we need amir. because junior is different. we need yace and bringer and comet and patzer. we need all the amateurs. and this is what we need. a program has a potential. and nobody knows what tomorrow brings. do you know how fritz8 will be,or junior8, or century5 ? do you know how next comet or nimzo9 will be ? thats why i like computerchess. its possible. its not completely planned. there is variety. lets show stefan that other programmers and other teams have ideas and luck too. lets watch out for crafty and goliath and arena and gromit and sjeng and isichess. because we need it. we all want it. and we will have a nice time. i like this, it makes me happy. i am looking inton the future. its unimportant.- but its the best unimportant hobby i could imagine...
