This is the e-mail I received from Saitek last month about new portable chess computers that will be available shortly. At present there are two new models: The Cosmic which will be released in the next 6-8 weeks, is a hand held unit with an entirely electronic display - to make moves you use a light stylus pen supplied. The Bravo is a new hand held portable unit, with a peg type board priced at £39.99. These unit will shortly be advertised on our web site. Regards. Maria Nash Customer Services The only problem with the Excalibur LCD chess computers are their graphics are very poor compared to the chess programs that are available for the Pocket PC. I own a Cassio Pocket PC and it's battery life is excellent. Forget buying an expensive Compaq. I have found that various Cassio products that I own are very reliable and would recommend them to anyone.
