Oh - you MUST buy yourself a Mac. You like Linux now - well, I guarantee that
you will fall in love with OS/X. A real solid Unix with the best desktop in the
world on top of it. The only downside is the relatively low clockspeed of the
PPC for chess engines ! (That is, unless you can squeeze something useful extra
out of the AltiVec 128-bit vector execution unit)
