Actually, I think that statement is in error.

If Kramnik had avoided temptation and played 19.Bd5 (which everybody commenting
on ICC easily saw) instead of sacrificing the knight on f7, I think he would
have won without great difficulty.  Even computers rated Kramnik's position as
clearly better.
