we are unfortunately suffering from a computer "glut" partially blamed on me,
of course. But you aren't the only one having this problem, although I have a
couple of IM and GM players that are regulars (Kirlian is very strong, as one
example).

Not sure there is a "point"... just a noted "thing". Your program is obviously
very strong, particularly against other computers as I have noted. But if you
get pawn-stormed that easily and often, an automatic interface would force you
to fix it or end up at 2300. It's happened to me *many* times. Bruce as well.
And it only makes you stronger.

I don't know. I only know that Crafty won't get rolled in a kingside attack
very often. It does (at times) "help" it's opponent in this regard, because it
is quite aggressive and sometimes attacks when the opponent is in a better
position to attack than it is... I call this "self immolation" (setting
yourself on fire).

And I don't know/think there's something seriously wrong with the way you play.
I hope I didn't leave that impression. But more games will either cause you to
fix the problem or start noplaying certain players. Kirlian is good at these
types of attacks. Orlov as well. Kim Commons (Kingway). Tim. Etc...
