I personally regard it as the most important computer chess game since DB '97. A REAL chance to directly compare a micro against DB. As I have said previously - I don't think that Junior is the best opponent against a human (I think Fritz is better). Junior's Dortmund game against Kramnik, in which Kramnik used a simple Stonewall attack to pole-axe Junior without Junior making any sort of fight, was a huge embarassment (though if you play an SGM, you always run the risk of embarassment). Anyway - Junior is the program that's playing, and if the game does go ahead, the information it will yield will be invaluable. -g
