What then ? (BTW, I think that by far the easiest way to recognize a veteran SSDF program is by the openings it plays). This is a question to all programmers: If you could somehow recognize your computer opponent (and it is familiar to you), what would you do with this information ? How much better would you expect to do ? Amir
