PROVISONAL RATING WENT DOWN AND URI IS UPSET ABOUT IT.

Uri,
There is no other way to initiate a provisinal rating without subjecting the
entire rating system to substantial abuse. Player will quickly figure out an
abuse scheme to manipulate their rating to be higher and in some cases
subtantially higher.
For some unknown reasons, wherever rating systems are introduced , players
(especially males) quickly equate their rating with perhaps the size of their
bank account and/or penis size and many frantically scheme how to get their
rating higher by ANY MEANS - cheating is a common method employed. I believe
this is done to impress the opposite sex , but I am not convinced as the
bragging is often made to the same sex.
My suggestion is to play Movei for FUN - who gives a hoot what Movei's rating is
on ICC - nobody here does (except for you) and remember - this is not about the
rating - it's about chess.
