Thats why there are two markets... AMD has a patent on a Hyperthreading-like technology. It is the same thing, but not the same name. Also, certain positions are slower in Chess than others. He may have had an unlucky position. 2000 kN/s sounds low for a dual 2600 MP. BTW, your Xeons put out much more heat than any Athlon does. -Matt
