That's what we had at my high school. Computer science 1, and computer science 2. My CS 2 class was a little less difficult than the one you described, however. There were 8 of us that got stuck in the back of a CS 1 class. Basically we played Quake. It was always funny (looking back on it) when the teacher would begin walking towards the back of the room and all 8 of us would ALT-TAB out of Quake and into a blank Turbo C++ screen.
