Yes I wonder that Chessbase handles it this way. From a legal point of view you have undoubtedly the right to return your package and receive your money back. But I'm quite sure Chessbase won't accept that and going to court is too much effort (although there is no risk loosing the case). For all customers it would be good if someone would go to court with this case, since Chessbase is a quasi-monopolist and therefore any consumer boycott will not work at all.
