If Kramnik/Kasparov/top 40 wanted to play boring games with white then yes, it's easy to draw with machines. But i can't believe for all the others it's easy or medium or even difficult to draw. It's impossible! And i don't mean drawing one game or two but a series of 10-20 games and in hardware 2200 MHz and up. And as humans would have to play with black too, it's a bad idea to play boring for a draw. > >However, do you have any conception with the black pieces against 1.e4? >This is eventually the move you will have to face in 90% of the cases. >You might be lost already before the computer is out of book. > >1...e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 is probably not advisable unless you can handle the Berlin >Variation as good as Kramnik did. >The Petroff might be better, but even there you will almost certainly encounter >difficulties against the machine because white has a small advantage there. > >The French defence was a perfect Anti-Computer opening some years ago. >Things have changed and it might be very dangerous to play it now. >The French defence is under severe pressure these days. > >The same applies for the Caro-Kann.
