I wouldn't dare to make a 5 year prediction even as far as computers
are concerned.

If Intel just keeps selling new Pentium 4's, you will be wrong.

Granted, HyperThreading isn't all that spectacular right now, but for
a first try, it's nice

Now think about how good they can make it in 10 years.

Another thing: the new CPUs from Intel and AMD are all designed to be
cheaper and better to use in an SMP setting. Coincidence? Don't think so.

I like being in the situation where whoever of our two is right in 10
years doesn't matter for me, since I run fine on multiprocessors AND
singleprocessors. And in the meantime, this Useless Feature certainly
is handy during tournaments where I have to play you (or Johan).
