I believe it was about two months ago or less that he posted the article here.
I personally talked to him on Icc. He said that he was "very interested"in
playing such a match. He then gave me permission to suggest the match to this
group. And two days later to my surprise he posted a message here himself, this
in my view confirmed even more his interest! Ofcourse there was I think one
response to his post, so I imagine he got the impression no one was interested,
which is obviously true from the lack of responses. I may be wrong but I think
based on my conversation with schroer that he was Just as interested in the
experiment itself as he was in money(which was not discussed). From my point of
view if I was a programmer of rebel or genius I would jump at an oportunity like
this to get exposure for my program. Schroer probally would not charge anymore
than 300 dollars. Which to me would be a very investment for the potential
publicity the program would recieve, win or lose! Hiarcs is still recieving
fame for it's victory against Internation Master Hergott. And this victory was
the reason I bought the program. I also think such a match would be benificial
to schroeder.
