Do you have an actual quote in a message *he* posted where he offered to play? I
specifically asked, and I do not remember seeing any. If I recall correctly,
someone sort of 'volunteered' for him to play without actually asking him.

I don't think we should jump on Morovic. We don't know his actual
circumstances. I would very much like to see top players against top programs.
But in real life, it happens anyway on ICC and FICS. Sometimes under disguise,
and sometimes as the real thing. Some of the best players in the world do play
against computers.

On the other hand, I also agree that tournament conditions are another thing
altogether, and you never know how serious they are fooling around on the net.
I think (just a silly notion) that some GM's may actually be _psyched_ at the
thought of playing computers since Kasparov got handed his hat. They don't
recogize the incredible gulf between Deep Blue and klone-pee-cee. On the other,
other hand, the gap between the very top players like Anand and Kasparov and a
2500 GM is probably as great as the gap between a PII 450 Mhz and Deep Blue.
Many orders of magnitude, in other words.
