Imagine that are a child again, and that your elderly next door neighbor has a
very big backyard. He can't enjoy it, so he lets the neighborhood children play
in his backyard. Suppose there is a new kid on the block, and the owner of the
backyard hears the new kid using foul language. The man warns the kid, but he
does it again later that same day. Next week he hears the kid use foul language
again, and asks him to leave and not come back. Other kids who have been playing
in his backyard for years were also using foul language, but he knows them very
well and has been friends with their parents for many years, so he lets them
stay, no matter how many times he catches them using foul language.

According to you, the man has no right to decide who gets to use his backyard.
If he lets some kids stay and asks other kids to leave, that is his right,
because he owns the property. If he wants to let only rich white kids play in
his backyard, that is his right (regardless of how ethical it is).

The same applies here. Someone owns the server which this forum runs on, and if
they want to ban some people who use foul language and let others stay, that is
their right. They could just start banning people for fun if they wanted to.
This is not a democracy. It is a privately owned forum. You could start your own
forum and ban away all day long, just for fun. There are no equal rights here. I
don't think there are any rights period. It's a priveledge to be a member here,
not a right :-)
