Well, because the products are provided by the same commerical entity, the two
autoplayers might be based on the same source base.  One is released, further
work is done, and the other is released.  If there was a software bug in the
earlier one that wasn't caught, it would still exist in the latter one.

This is, of course, only one possible explanation.  We can speculate if we like,
but Chessbase is about the only entity that really knows.  A representative from
Chessbase might be unwilling to post here on this topic; generally people avoid
places where they are getting raked over the coals.
