I agree to a point, but it was SSDF that did the testing not ChessBase. SSDF did
not have to test it. And come on who in their right minds thinks that testing
with 32mb vs. 44mb hash is going to get you first place on the SSDF list. Fritz
5 was so far out it front of the pack it would not have made a differece.

This tactic has just been argued because people that don't know might think it
is a hugh advantage, so it was a good ploy to attack Chessbase with.

All this fuss, about cheating and such, and the next crop of program will over
take Fritz 5 on the list. Are they cheating too, or was Fritz 5 just the best of
the old crop of programs. My testing shows it was just the best for its
generation.

And I have all the top programs and play them against each other, I know it was
best in computer vs computer play. It did not have to cheat.

I find Junior 5 even stronger then Fritz 5, so it does not have to cheat either.
And I bet Junior 5 will top the list next month.
