Note that I am not interested in the game but it seems totally absurd for me if
the law can prevent people to release programs that play a game espacailly when
the games is similiar to an existing game that everybody can release a program
that plays it.

People can release programs that play every game when the user define the rules
and I understood that zillion of games does it so if people have the freedom to
release programs that play a big set of games including GothicChess then it is
absurd not to allow them to release a free or commercial program that plays
gothic chess.

I am not a lawyer but if I need to decide about the rules I will not decide that
you can do something against people who release a free program or a commercial
program that plays Gothic chess.

I do not think that people should be allowed to get patent for defining a game
with similiar rules to chess.
