Anatoli,

I would get a 160 GB hard disk and forget about more RAM. It might be smarter to
just get a DVD ROM and plug into a Plextor 708 DVD/CD burner using a USB 2.x
connection if you wanted to burn some CDs and DVDs. If you can get this with a
high-res 17 inch screen that would be even better.

Better yet....If you can wait five more years then the resolution of the screens
will go up by a factor of ten and the processors will be twenty times as fast.
The cost will be about the same.
