Only in the small world of Europe. Neither of these are "world" events, just European events. ICGA chess is just a low-tech (i.e. too many stupid humans in the loop) Euro-chess club with a couple of Israelis tossed in for flavor. On the other hand, CCTs include the whole earth, not just the cozy Euro-club clique. Your events are mildly interesting and fun for you, but they are ultimately colloqial. BTW, nobody gives a rats hinder parts for commercial viewpoints or concerns, except those whose object is to make money.
