I'd support this sort of interface.  I suspect you may have to volunteer your
services to get it implemented though, the ICD people only have limited
resources to put into CCC.

If we do go for the above interface, I think there needs to be a little more
information on the main screen than just the name of each thread.  Maybe it
should show the last post as well - otherwise there would be no way of knowing
if you'd read all the posts in a thread without 'drilling down' into it.  This
would be a little tedious if there were alot of threads you were interested in.

Also, there is no reason why CCC couldn't have two interfaces - the current one
and a new one.  That way, people get to choose the one they like best.
