Hello Steven,

I am aware of a few people that collect these relics. I was considering doing
it myself, as the price of them drops quickly as new hardware and software
becomes available !

I person that made the second post 'may' have misunderstood your intentions !
So perhaps, he will take the high road and apologize.

A little tip:

I believe you can get email notification at Ebay for specific search words such
as:

"Computer Chess"
"Chess Computers"
etc..

you get the point. This would give you real time updates of what is available
there for purchase.

I hope you have the presence of mind to either donate or bequeath your
collection to a museum. A good set like yours would be quite an historical
artifact. Once these machines are gone, they will be gone for good :)

Can you advise as to the status of current standalones ? With computers and
software being to cheap and things like Palms, one would think people would no
longer demand them.

Cordially
