Hello Ed,

there is another idea, which could help to solve the licensing problem:

Have the later customer decide, whether to play GC or not. You can sell
a special license manager to everybody, who wants to have the possibility
to play Gothic Chess.

A CRC program will then ask for an existing license (as you will want, it
should be done). If there is a license, GC is possible, if not, it is not.

That would also solve the problem of distributing FreeWare or ShareWare
programs. Because the end user could decide, whether the program will be
GC enabled by your license or not.

And because it would enable you to make money without doing something,
the program developers should be completely free and have an all covering
unlimited license themself.

What do you think about that suggestion?

Regards, Reinhard.
