firewalls are not a problem for those using ssh, as an example...  This event
needs to be driven by a FICS server, automate the moves, clocks, pairings,
result reporting, make it all available via http or telnet/xboard/winboard, etc.

That is basically like saying "other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how did you like
the play?"  Or "other than that Mrs. Kennedy, how did you like the parade?"

"small improvement" is the wrong word.  "total re-do" is what is needed from the
information technology side of things.
