BTW, I actually believe that the distibutions based on the 2.6 kernel are not ready for prime time. Fortunately, Mandrake 10.0 as an option to install the well proven kernel 2.4, and that's a really good idea. Personally I still use Fedora Core 1 enhanced with a post-installer I have written (updates what needs to be, and installs all the stuff missing from the release for legal reasons: multimedia players able to read DVDs and MP3 and other stuff).
