I'm not a proponent of using C# for chess.

Here is what I said:

That is true, but it doesn't mean I would recommend using C# for a chess
program.

For most of us, even the commercial guys, our chess programs are lifetime
hobbies so we can overcome the disadvantage of having more overhead in the early
stages.
