You must give value and respect to all players. We don't play to support strong players for the sake of supporting them. When you get trapped in the mind set that only an elite few are worthy of making money in our sport. All players will lose. This is not hard to understand, but some are hard learners. This will happen in Italy, the USA, or anywhere were this mind set that the lower rated players that support chess owe something to an elite few. We will support them if we have value for are money. It take a smart organizer to understand this, and there are a few of them.
