Go up one level in this thread

I would never consider Kasparov , Kramnik as the best Anticomputer players (No
doubt they are in the top 3 players in the world right now but they are not Anti
Computer Chess Experts.

The best Anticomputer player is the one who gets the silicon monster to play the
positions in which its evaluations are not realistic and where it feels
uncomfortable. The one who gets the computers to play such positions most often
can be considered as Anti-computer expert. Rarely do we find Humans outplaying
Computers in Tactics so Depth is not a biggest factor here. In Human vs Computer
matches especially at the High level evaluation is the most important part ,we
can see Computers evaluate open positions quite well but their evaluation fails
in closed positions. The Grandmaster who entices Computer to play such closed
positions most often can be considered as Anticomputer expert and not just
because you are no.1,2 or 3 player in the world.

Kasparov : Quite dynamic style. But is this the best way of playing against the
computers? Pl. go through the recent results (except in 1997 he beat Deep Blue,
he has lost and drawn everything after that.)

Kramnik : Positional Style but results against fritz in Behrain and their games
did not suggest that he is the best Anticomputer player at the moment.

Vikrant
