I purchased Tiger myself from PalmGear a couple of years ago, but from what I've
heard, Handango is also perfectly reputable.

As others wrote, once you've purchased the program, you should get future
upgrades for free. Also, at the present price ($14.95) it's a great deal. I paid
$24.95 back in March 2002, and I believe the price has been as high as $29.95 at
some point in its life.

Having said all that, I just upgraded to a new Tungsten T3 from my old Palm
IIIc, and have been trying for a week now to get a new license key, but have had
no response from Chess Tiger support. From old posts here, on r.g.c.c and on
Handango's reviews, it appears that getting a new key really *shouldn't* be a
big deal..

The last thing I want to do is to start bad-mouthing Christophe on the Palm
software sites.. as a former email-chess organization staff member I know how
flaky email can be. So if anyone can confirm that the support@chesstiger.com is
being read/responded to, that'd be great..

thanks,

Andy Cross
