This "coming out" and your public apology above show that you have enormous
character and courage which deserves everybody's greatest respect and
appreciation. You unconditionally have mine for your above statements.

Now some or even many people probably think that I started the whole discussion
as a disguised personal crusade against you in order to satisfy my hunger of
revenge for a hurt ego. But this was really not the case as evident by my
careful avoidance of any direct name-calling in particular. I never intended
to make specifically you come out and I never felt hurt by you *personally*.

While they act officially, I view all moderators together as "moderational
entity" without any personal distinction between the involved individuals.
Therefore, the whole and only intended point of my discussion was the overall
moderational style of the currently serving entity without focussing on any
specific individual. Unfortunately, my according concerns w.r.t. to the
overall moderational style have not yet disappeared

True enough.

Of course, changes of moderation criteria should only be based on factual
arguments and necessity. Neither the frequency of disagreement, nor the
perceived standing of the respective CCC member (see below), nor the period
of time since the last change ought to influence the decisions pro or contra
potentially new changes.

Your allusion to my status in computer chess clearly implies that I try to
misuse my perceived "high standing" in order to achieve special treatment.
Do you really deem this highly personal reproach appropriate?

I am not aware of any behaviour of mine which justifies your implication. I
sincerely hope that any other CCC member (regardless of his or her perceived
standing whatsoever) would have received similar attention and support by
the CCC public if the same had happened to him instead of me.

I already said that I have no problems with agreeing to disagree about various
aspects of overall moderational style. I agree with Bruce Moreland who stated
that, instead of forbidding to quote their official email messages, the
moderators should rather try to formulate them in such a way as to not be
ashamed of any potential quotes.

The consequence of the disagreements for me personally is that I stop to
actively contribute to CCC for the time being -- no more, no less.
