I agree. Most think a 9 or 11 round swiss event is the way to go.

We could have used a Tomato bot for CCT7, but the request wasn't responded to
until it was to late.

The tomato bots already can handle a multiple day tournament. This is no longer
an issue.

This was raised by several of the participants in CCT7. The opinion is that the
program is playing. Not the operator/author. It should be making all decisions
relating to the game, and when connected to an ics server, the operator/author
is really reduced to a spectator role.

As we have seen operators can make mistakes, and _anything_ can happen in
computer chess.
