Hello everyone, I was asked on ICC last night if I would be interested in TD'ing a CCT type event at longer time controls. The basis of the request was the thought that the longer the time control, the better the games will be. My question is how much better would the games be? Using the time control from the last CCT of 45 3, I thought the level of play was very high. Would a time control like 90 0 or 120 0 improve the game all that much? Or would it simply make the game more mudane in a "drawish" type game? Is there even interest in an event like this? I would like to hear opinions on the subject. Peter
