If your question if for Robert Hyatt alone, why not send an email?

Fide rules apply, unless you agree upon some others.

In order to track the 50 move rule, you must do it yourself.

Imagine (for instance) if you have already made 12 non-reversible moves before
an EGTB lookup. The EGTB does not know about it, so it cannot tell you anything
useful about how many non-reversible moves have been made.

The same would hold for 3-position repeat. If you already met some position
twice, and then an EGTB trajectory puts you in the same position again, then you
have a draw.

You do not get to pick and choose who answers your messages in a public forum.
That's what email is for.
